A Non-Profit Charitable Membership Society

The Royal Society of St. George is a benevolent and charitable organization; part of our efforts will be dedicated to fundraising and capital development of programs (to be announced) in the public sector. The Royal Society of St. George, California branch is a sponsored charitable organization operating under the auspices of Saint Lazarus Relief Fund, a registered 501(c)(3) Charity.

Join Our Society in California

Membership of the Royal Society Of Saint George is open to:​

  • English men and English women wherever born.

  • To Sons and daughters of members who are citizens of a nation of the Commonwealth.

  • To the Spouses of members.

  • Persons approved by the Council of the Society.

  • Not being of English descent nevertheless support the aims and objectives of the Society.

The Society is un-sectarian and independent of party politics.

Every year we celebrate St. George's Day in Los Angeles with social affairs and events. We are developing services to foster the creation of a network with a state-wide outreach that is well-recognized with authority.

Membership is $150 and includes: Annual subscription to St. George for England magazine, membership certificate, membership card, a lapel pin, use of our members only and social media network, and the ability to participate in our California Branch events. You can join here!

Officers

Princess Karen Cantrell, Chairperson

Her Excellency Ambassador Karen Cantrell (Ratu Muda Princess Karen Cantrell) is the chairperson. Her Excellency is a descendant of H.G. Duke John of Gaunt - 4th son of Edward III, King of England and Henry de Bohun, Earl of Hereford. Professionally she is an entrepreneur who owns a specialty golf and equestrian store in the Palm Desert and she is engaged as an international inspector and goodwill ambassador for Globcal International. Locally she is actively engaged in promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Campaign with the local United Nations Association of the Inland Empire and Globcal International.

Christopher A. Chambers, Secretary

Christopher A. Chambers, GOSE, CHK, is the Secretary of the California Branch. Professionally over the course of his career he has been a researcher, software developer, and entrepreneur. Currently he is the Senior Director of Software Architecture for Universal Electronics. He is the inventor or co-inventor of over two dozen patents, and has had several scientific publications including an article on Neural Networks in Physical Review Letters. He is a Kentucky Colonel, member of the Manorial Society of Great Britain, and the 30th lord of the manor of Skighaugh in Essex England.

Liane Buck, Treasurer

Liane Buck is the co-founder of the Humanity Healing Network, General Manager of and sits on the Board of Directors for Humanity Healing International, and in The Board of Directors of Saint Lazarus Relief Fund. Liane Buck is the Editor-in-Chief of OM Times Magazine
