Eddie Garcia
Eddie Garcia is a national security and supply chain-resilience executive with a career shaped by a lifelong commitment to public service.
Raised with an awareness of his family's deep roots in the American Southwest, descended from Don Alonso de León, the Spanish colonial governor and explorer who led the first overland expedition into Texas, Eddie has always understood public service as a calling. That spirit of duty brought him to the United States Army, where he served eight years on active duty, including a deployment supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and a three-year assignment in the Republic of Korea.
His path in public service then led him to the White House as an intern for President Barack Obama
While still in law school, Eddie was hand-selected as one of only ten strategists brought into the Senate War Room to craft the strategy that preserved the Affordable Care Act, entrusted with one of the most consequential legislative battles in modern American history, one whose outcome protected healthcare access for tens of millions of Americans.
At the Department of Defense, Eddie managed a defense portfolio valued at more than $1.7 billion. He then served as a Senior Analyst at the White House Office of Management and Budget, advising Presidential appointees and shaping legislation that influenced over $750 billion in annual federal spending.
His contributions to national service have since been recognized with the Executive Office of the President's Special Achievement Award and personal letters of appreciation from President Joe Biden.
Beyond his government service, Eddie has been invested as a Knight Commander of the Imperial Order of Dom Pedro I by the Imperial House of Orléans-Braganza, and serves as a Gubernatorial Appointee in Virginia. A member of the Bretton Woods Committee and the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Eddie is a regular invitee to the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund, engaging at the highest levels of global economic policy discourse.
Today, Eddie advises private equity and venture-backed clients on government capture strategy and supply-chain resilience across the defense, energy, infrastructure, and critical minerals sectors
