A Royal Society Honorary Member means a member of the Association that holds full speaking rights at meetings of the Members but does not have the right to vote in elections, referenda, or discussions of the Members. We do not regard an award of an honorary member lightly. It is the Meritorious presentation and the public granting awarding based on their personal and social accomplishments, public esteem, and reputation.
