William Right

William Right is a current serving member of the Governor General’s Horse Guards Regiment, located in Toronto, Ontario Canada where he has served as Soldier and Musician in the Regimental Band since 1995. Queen Elizabeth II is the Colonel-In-Chief of his Military Unit, which is celebrating its 200th Anniversary this year. William is also a composer and launched his 4th professionally recorded music release on January 28, 2022. This is his Not-for-Profit Organizations (Black and White Music Productions) second music release, an 11-song album called “Seventy Years.” The album is dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee. William received the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award from Prince Philip in 1996. Proceeds from the sale of the album go to assist Soldiers who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Operational Stress Injuries.
